Impressive pendant luminaire Izar B Max

The interesting feature of the Izar B Max pendant luminaire from Lucis is its impressive dimensional variability, which allows you to create a striking visual element in a space, whether it is a smaller 900 mm diameter or a monumental 1500 mm diameter version, ideal for generous interiors. The luminaire offers a high quality of light thanks to LED technology, guaranteeing a true-to-life colour rendering, which is important in galleries, design studios or luxury stores, for example. The choice of 3000 K chromaticity for a warmer atmosphere or 4000 K for a fresh, neutral light provides flexibility for different types of environments. Another interesting feature is the minimalist design with clean lines and an acrylic glass diffuser that not only elegantly diffuses the light, but also masks the technical elements of the luminaire. Thanks to its IP40 protection rating, it is also suitable for more demanding interiors where basic dust protection is needed. Izar B Max thus combines aesthetic simplicity with technical maturity, making it not only a light source but also a design element of the interior.

Izar B Max with IP40 protection

The IP40 protection of the Izar B Max luminaire indicates the degree of protection according to the international standard IEC 60529, where the number "4" means protection against the ingress of solid particles larger than 1 mm, such as dust or small dirt, and "0" means that the luminaire is not protected against the ingress of water. This means that the luminaire is suitable for normal indoor environments where it is not exposed to direct contact with moisture or water droplets. The combination of this degree of protection and the high quality of light thanks to LED technology makes the Izar B Max luminaire not only aesthetic but also technically advanced for modern interiors.

What is the application of the IP40 rating for lighting Izar B Max lighting?

The IP40 rating protects light from the ingress of solid particles larger than 1 mm, such as dust. Therefore, it is suitable for standard indoor spaces where it is not exposed to moisture.

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.
