FAQs

You can find more tips and advice in our Lighting Academy.

What is the IP rating of the Indeluz Kari Square Assym LED lighting?

The light fixture has an IP30 rating, which makes it suitable for indoor use, such as hallways or stairwells, but not for damp areas.

What is the lifespan of the Indeluz Kari LED light?

The Indeluz Kari offers a lifespan of 35,000 hours, specified as L80B20, which ensures long-term stable light output. An ideal choice for long-term lighting projects.

What beam angle should you choose?

The beam angle determines how wide an area the light will illuminate. A narrower angle is suitable for highlighting specific objects, while a wider angle provides more even lighting over a larger space.

If you'd like to learn more, read our article How to Choose the Right Beam Angle for LED Lighting.

What IP rating is appropriate for a given space?

The appropriate IP rating depends on the environment in which light will be used. While IP20 is usually sufficient for standard living spaces, bathrooms, patios, and exterior areas require a higher level of protection against moisture and dust.

If you’d like to learn more about the different IP ratings, read our article IP Ratings Explained: How to Choose Lighting for the Bathroom and exterior Use.

What does the CRI value mean?

CRI indicates how accurately light renders colors. For general use, we recommend a CRI of at least 80, while for kitchens, bathrooms, or areas where accurate color rendering is important, a CRI of 90 or higher is ideal.

You can learn more about the significance of the color rendering index in our article What is CRI and how does it affect the appearance of colors in interiors?
