Is the Gia Round Surf suitable for installation in a bathroom?

The light fixture has an IP23 rating, which means it is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12 mm and liquid droplets falling at an angle of up to 60 degrees. However, it is not suitable for high-humidity environments, such as bathrooms.

What is the difference between the light temperature options for the Gia Round Surf?

The light fixture is available in versions with color temperatures of 3000 K and 4000 K. The 3000 K temperature provides a warmer, cozier light, while 4000 K offers neutral, daylight-like light suitable for work environments.

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.

What IP rating is appropriate for a given space?

The appropriate IP rating depends on the environment in which light will be used. While IP20 is usually sufficient for standard living spaces, bathrooms, patios, and exterior areas require a higher level of protection against moisture and dust.

How to choose the right color rendering index (CRI)?

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) indicates how faithfully light renders actual colors. For general use, a CRI of at least 80 is suitable, while a CRI of 90 or higher is recommended for kitchens, galleries, or showrooms.
