FAQs

You can find more tips and advice in our Lighting Academy.

What is the IP rating Cristher Clina LED post light?

Cristher Clina LED post light has an IP55 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use, such as in gardens.

At what color temperature is light available?

The light fixture is available in two color temperatures: 3000 K and 4000 K. These options allow you to choose between a warm and a neutral light tone for exterior lighting.

What IP rating is appropriate for a given space?

The appropriate IP rating depends on the environment in which light will be used. While IP20 is usually sufficient for standard living spaces, bathrooms, patios, and exterior areas require a higher level of protection against moisture and dust.

If you’d like to learn more about the different IP ratings, read our article IP Ratings Explained: How to Choose Lighting for the Bathroom and exterior Use.

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.

You can find a more detailed explanation of the different light temperatures in our article What Is CCT and How to Choose the Right Color Temperature

What does the CRI value mean?

CRI indicates how accurately light renders colors. For general use, we recommend a CRI of at least 80, while for kitchens, bathrooms, or areas where accurate color rendering is important, a CRI of 90 or higher is ideal.

You can learn more about the significance of the color rendering index in our article What is CRI and how does it affect the appearance of colors in interiors?
