Scandinavian simplicity in Italian style

The Meta Floor combines the clean lines and basic geometric shapes that are characteristic of Scandinavian design. However, in contrast to the cool austerity, Meta also brings a subtle Italian touch - attention to detail, proportion and aesthetic balance. It is this combination that results in a light that is calm, elegant and yet distinctive enough to become a design element in the interior.

Minimalism with a technological base

Although Meta looks very simple, it contains the latest LED technology that ensures energy efficiency, long life and pleasant light quality. This combination of formal austerity and technical maturity makes it the ideal choice for those looking for a light that is not only beautiful, but also functional and timeless.

Designed by Franco Zavarise

Franco Zavarise, born in 1960 in Mareeba, Australia, is the visionary founder of the Italian brand ZAVA, which he founded in 1982 with the aim of turning his passion for light and working with metal into unique lighting. After completing his technical studies, he decided to design lighting for his friends, which became the germ of the entire brand. From the very beginning, Zavarise combines his deep experience in metalworking with an instinctive sense of design. At ZAVA's headquarters, traditional craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art technology - lighting are first created using high-tech machinery and then refined by hand, with attention to every detail. Franco believes that quality design should not only be beautiful and functional, but also affordable and sustainable. Today, the ZAVA brand is a symbol of Italian know-how, where industrial precision is combined with a human touch. Interestingly, most of the products are still created directly in their workshops in northern Italy, guaranteeing quality control and authenticity of each piece.
