FAQs

You can find more tips and advice in our Lighting Academy.

What is the IP rating of the Dopo Mura LED, and where can it be used?

The Dopo Mura LED light fixture has an IP65 rating. It is suitable for outdoor installations, such as on patios or along outdoor walkways.

How do I adjust the light temperature on lighting MURA lighting before installation?

The color temperature of the MURA is adjusted using the CCT switch inside lighting. The options are 2700K, 3200K, and 4000K.

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.

You can find a more detailed explanation of the different light temperatures in our article What Is CCT and How to Choose the Right Color Temperature

What IP rating is appropriate for a given space?

The appropriate IP rating depends on the environment in which light will be used. While IP20 is usually sufficient for standard living spaces, bathrooms, patios, and exterior areas require a higher level of protection against moisture and dust.

If you’d like to learn more about the different IP ratings, read our article IP Ratings Explained: How to Choose Lighting for the Bathroom and exterior Use.

What is the difference between watts and lumens?

Watts indicate power consumption, while lumens express the amount of light that light actually emits. When choosing LED lighting, it is therefore better to focus on luminous flux rather than power consumption alone.

If you'd like to learn more, read our article What are lumens, and how many do we need for each room?
