Bernard-Albin Gras was one of the most important designers of the 20th century and a major influence on the development of functional design. Their timeless character, precise technical details and functional aesthetics have appealed to many figures in modern architecture and art, including Le Corbusier, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Eileen Gray. GRAS Lighting were among the first to make their mark in both professional and residential environments and remain a symbol of visionary and consistently relevant design to this day.
