DCW éditions Lampe Gras N°317 E14 table lamp

Extreme flexibility without compromise

Lampe Gras N°317 is one of the most flexible luminaires in the entire DCW éditions collection. Thanks to a sophisticated system of joints, it allows precise adjustment of the light at almost any angle, from the pivoting column to the head itself. Each element has a clear purpose - the light can be precisely directed to a work surface, drawing table or detailed activity without losing stability or elegance. This technical perfection makes lighting not only a design object, but above all a highly functional working tool.

An icon of industrial design in modern interiors

The Lampe Gras design, designed by Bernard-Albin Gras in the 1920s, is still considered timeless today. The N°317 model continues this tradition and develops it in a form that meets today's demands for flexibility and comfort. The characteristic metal design, the absence of unnecessary decoration and the clean technical lines ensure that light fits naturally into industrial, modern or minimalist interiors.

Designed by Bernard-Albin Gras

Bernard-Albin Gras was one of the most important designers of the 20th century and a major influence on the development of functional design. In 1921, he designed GRAS lighting for offices and industry that stood out for their simplicity, robustness and exceptional ergonomics, without the use of screws or welded joints. Their timeless character, precise technical details and functional aesthetics have appealed to many figures in modern architecture and art, including Le Corbusier, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Eileen Gray. GRAS Lighting were among the first to make their mark in both professional and residential environments and remain a symbol of visionary and consistently relevant design to this day.

"Bernard-Albin Grase's talented and visionary design has proven to be timeless."
