Designed by Bernard-Albin Gras

Bernard-Albin Gras was one of the most important designers of the 20th century and a major influence on the development of functional design. In 1921, he designed GRAS lighting for offices and industry that stood out for their simplicity, robustness and exceptional ergonomics, without the use of screws or welded joints. Their timeless character, precise technical details and functional aesthetics have appealed to many figures in modern architecture and art, including Le Corbusier, Robert Mallet-Stevens and Eileen Gray.
