The transparent polycarbonate is processed to resemble the structure of glass or ice, including subtle irregularities and optical reflections. The luminaire thus appears to be a solid, almost heavy object, but in reality it is lightweight and technologically sophisticated. This contrast between visual “weight” and actual lightness is one of the main defining features of the entire collection.

A dramatic transformation between the off and on states

Ringo functions as a dual-natured object—when turned off, it appears as a striking, almost sculptural form with a strong presence in the space. As soon as it is turned on, its transparency begins to define its volume, and light diffuses evenly through the material. This creates an optical lightening effect, making light appear almost weightless as it elegantly blends into its surroundings.
