Bicoca is designed as a fully autonomous light—it runs on a rechargeable battery with a runtime of up to 20 hours at lower brightness levels. It charges via USB-C and offers three brightness levels, so you can easily adjust the light to suit any situation—from reading to soft ambient lighting.

Smart accessories for even greater flexibility

Special accessories are available for the lamp, significantly expanding its range of uses. A magnet allows it to be attached to metal surfaces, even vertically, while a fabric strap easily secures it to a chair back, sofa, or headboard. Thanks to this, Bicoca adapts to various situations and becomes a truly versatile light.

Designer Christophe Mathieu is one of the key figures in contemporary lighting design, whose work is as dynamic as his life journey. Born in Germany (1961), he grew up in the Canary Islands, and his professional career took him from Barcelona to Milan—a city that fundamentally influenced his approach to industrial design.
Mathieu is known for his restless, inquisitive approach—he gradually transformed from a professional swimmer into a designer who is now one of the long-standing creators of the Marset brand. His work is characterized by the ability to combine technical functionality with emotion and create lighting that is not only practical but also visually captivating.
