FAQs

You can find more tips and advice in our Lighting Academy.

What materials are used in the Exo KRISTA pendant light?

The lamp is made of steel, with beech wood handles and a glass shade. These materials ensure durability and an attractive appearance.

For which spaces is a CCT of 2700K suitable?

This light fixture, with a color temperature (CCT) of 2700K, creates a warm atmosphere, making it ideal for living spaces, restaurants, and hotels.

How high should light pendant light be hung above the dining table?

It is generally recommended to position the bottom edge of a pendant lighting approximately 70–90 cm above the tabletop. The exact height depends on the size lighting, the ceiling height, and the character of the space.

You can find more detailed recommendations in our article

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.

You can find a more detailed explanation of the different light temperatures in our article What Is CCT and How to Choose the Right Color Temperature

How many lumens do I need?

The number of lumens determines how much light light actually emits. The required value depends on the size of the room and the purpose of the lighting. When making your selection, focus on the luminous flux, not just the wattage.

You can find practical recommendations for individual rooms in our article What are lumens, and how many do you need for each room?
