Flos Skygarden E27 pendant dome luminaire

The Skygarden pendant light from the Italian company Flos is designed for diffused ambient lighting. The dominant element is a hemispherical diffuser in cast plaster with mechanical machining, which is painted white on the inside and available in four finishes on the outside: rust, gloss black, gloss white and matte gold. The plaster diffuser is fixed by a die-cast aluminium alloy structure. The upper cable grommet and fixing nut are made of black injection moulded polycarbonate, as is the grey ceiling rosette, which is painted in the colour of the lighting body. Transparent silicone dampers are used for cushioning and protection. The inner diffuser is made of frosted blown opal glass, which is fixed with a cast aluminium nut with an allodine finish. The decorative element (cutter) inside the lighting is made of photo-etched and mechanically formed AISI 304 stainless steel, which gives the luminaire a unique interior detail. The fixing to the ceiling is made of moulded and galvanised steel. The luminaire is available in two sizes, making it suitable for different sized spaces and architectural designs.
