E14 IP20

The Luang Table lamps, designed by Faro Lab, is a locally produced design inspired by the art and traditional handmade papyrus and natural fiber objects of Southeast Asia. This series of lamps focuses on creating complex, poetic and voluminous shapes from flat materials. The lamp has a minimalist design that contrasts with the organic and free-form shade, which is made entirely of papyrus and has no internal structure, allowing for even illumination. The shade is in beige or camel shades that provide a pleasant and natural light. The lamp is designed for global markets and is compatible with 110-120V and 220-240V supply voltages. The light source is for an E14 base bulb.

Table lamp Luang XS

Luang XS stands out for its minimalist design and the unique way the light passes through the papyrus shade. This natural material ensures an even and gentle diffusion of light, while the absence of an internal shade structure creates soft lighting without harsh shadows, giving the space a pleasantly cosy atmosphere. Inspired by the craft traditions of Southeast Asia, the lamp's design combines simplicity with organic shapes, creating a contrast between structure and free form. The lighting effect is ethereal and contributes to the magical atmosphere in the interior.

Sustainable design and efficient packaging

The packaging of the Luang XS is designed in a Flat Pack style, which effectively optimizes space for storage and transportation, reducing transportation costs and the environmental burden associated with CO2 emissions. The lamp structure is manufactured in Spain, while the shade is produced in Bulgaria, minimising transport distances and thus environmental impact. The use of natural materials, such as papyrus, promotes the sustainability of the product as it has less negative impact on the environment than synthetic materials. The overall design of the lamp emphasizes eco-friendliness and minimizing the impact on nature.

What type of light bulb is compatible with the Luang XS light fixture?

The Luang XS light fixture uses an E14-base bulb. This type is widely available and allows for easy replacement of the light source as needed.

What is the difference between an integrated LED light source and a replaceable light bulb?

Lighting with an integrated LED module have the light source built directly into the fixture, whereas in fixtures with incandescent bulbs, the light source can be replaced at any time. Both solutions have their advantages and suitable applications.

What color temperature should you choose?

Warm white (2700–3000 K) creates a cozy atmosphere and is suitable for living rooms or bedrooms. Neutral white (4000 K) is suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, or home offices. If light is available in multiple variants, we recommend choosing based on the room’s intended use.
