Luang is a floor lamp for the living room that is locally made and designed by the design studio Faro Lab. This collection draws inspiration from the traditional art and handmade objects made from papyrus and natural fibres, typical of Southeast Asia, and their ability to create complex, poetic and voluminous objects from flat materials. The lamp has a minimalist design that contrasts starkly with the loose, organic look of the shade, which is made entirely from papyrus and has no internal skeleton, giving it an even and intense glow. The shade is in a soft beige or camel colour that creates a very natural and cosy light. The light source is designed for bulbs with an E27 base. This model is compatible with 110-120V and 220-240V supply voltages, making it an ideal solution for global markets.
