The ISP Table light from the French brand DCW éditions, designed by the young designer and inventor Ilia Sergeevich Potemin, represents a small revolution in the world of lighting - it is controlled by a simple movement of the hand, without a switch, without a dimmer and without a classic bulb, thus resembling a kind of "flint instrument of the 21st century"; its light is born from gesture and interaction, which makes its use a unique experience. The luminaire appears as a beam of light from outer space, an object of obscure origin and time that combines technical precision and poetic mystery, and its entirely contemporary design has no precedent in the past or in existing luminaires. At the same time, ISP is a mechanical jewel, enclosed in a simple brass capsule, and is available in a natural brass version, which oxidizes naturally over time and acquires a patina, or in a lacquered version that protects the surface from oxidation and preserves its original appearance. In the off, eclipse and full light states, not only the intensity of illumination changes, but also the user's relationship to light itself - ISP does not give answers, but asks questions and invites discovery.
