Discocó consists of a system of more than 30 circular segments (lamellae) that not only cover the light source but also actively reflect and diffuse it. The result is a soft, glare-free light with remarkable depth and a distinctive interplay of light and shadow that adds dynamism to the space.

Designed by Christophe Mathieu

Designer Christophe Mathieu is one of the key figures in contemporary lighting design, whose work is as dynamic as his life journey. Born in Germany (1961), he grew up in the Canary Islands, and his professional career took him from Barcelona to Milan—a city that fundamentally influenced his approach to industrial design.
Mathieu is known for his restless, inquisitive approach—he gradually transformed from a professional swimmer into a designer who is now one of the long-standing creators of the Marset brand. His work is characterized by the ability to combine technical functionality with emotion and create lighting that is not only practical but also visually captivating.
