The Equinoxe hanging chandelier from the Italian brand Ideal lux combines luxurious design with quality workmanship. The metal structure is available in polished chrome or antique brass and is complemented by clear borosilicate glass diffusers in the shape of spheres, which can also be tinted in smoky grey or amber gold. The luminaire is available with eight or twelve diffusers and is fitted with G4 sockets for easy light source selection. The elegant look of the Equinoxe lighting makes it a suitable addition to both modern and classic interiors.

Inspiration of the equinoxes

As the name Equinoxe suggests, the design of lighting is inspired by the phenomenon of the equinox - the moment when day and night last the same length of time and light is in perfect balance. This principle is reflected in the harmonious distribution of the glass diffusers around the central axis, symbolising balance and harmony between aesthetics and functionality. Equinoxe thus brings not only light but also a calm visual symmetry.

Precise processing

Each lighting glass diffuser is made of borosilicate glass, which is characterised by its high heat resistance and purity. The glass is shaped and precisely polished to bring out its transparency or subtle tinting in smoke or amber. This attention to detail makes light look like an elegant design object even when the light is off.
