Designed by Paolo Rizzatto in 1973, the 265 wall light from Italian brand Flos is an iconic embodiment of functionality and design elegance. The design combines an adjustable steel arm and reflector with a chrome-plated brass support, complemented by a cast iron tapered counterweight and a painted steel wall element. Designed by Paolo Rizzatto

Paolo Rizzatto is a world-renowned designer whose career is closely linked to Milan and spans architecture, interior design and lighting. In 1978 he co-founded the renowned Luceplan brand with Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi. Rizzatto has taught at prestigious universities such as Columbia University in New York, Politecnico di Milano, and IUAV in Venice. His work has been published in numerous professional journals and catalogues and exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including MoMA in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Triennale di Milano. He has collaborated with major brands such as Artemide, Flos, Kartell, Molteni and Nemo. He has received numerous prestigious awards for his work, including five Compasso d'Oro Awards, the Red Dot Award and the Wallpaper* Design Award. His work is characterized by innovation, aesthetics and a deep understanding of light as a functional and emotional element of space.
