Manel Lluscà has been working in lighting design since the 1970s and has created hundreds of designs for European lighting manufacturers during his career. Later he set up his own studio where he now works with his son Alex. Their work combines years of technical experience with a modern approach to design. They are characterised by clean lines, functionality and an emphasis on the practical use of light in architecture. They design lighting for both interior and exterior that are characterised by timeless appearance, quality materials and thoughtful lighting effects. The Lluscà duo's design is based on a balance between aesthetics and functionality - their lighting not only illuminate a space, but also cultivate it and enhance its character.
