The Yasuke Table light from the French company DCW éditions is a 13W LED lamp with a luminous flux of 1300 lm, available in five different finishes. Inspired by the story of Yasuke, an African warrior turned samurai, the light combines elements of futuristic architecture, modern 21st century design and space sci-fi style. With two dimmers, the brightness and colour temperature of the light can be easily adjusted, allowing everyone to create their own lighting atmosphere - from warm, soft tones to the bright light of the southern sun. The luminaire is the perfect combination of sculptural design and functional lighting that impresses with its unique form and variability.

The Yasuke lamp draws inspiration from the extraordinary life story of an African warrior who became a samurai in Japan. This story is reflected in the design of the lamp, which combines historical reference, exoticism and a futuristic touch to create a unique object that tells its own story in space.

Fully adjustable lighting

Yasuke offers two separate controls - brightness and colour temperature, allowing each user to create their own lighting atmosphere. From warm, soft light to bright, daylight tones, the lamp can easily be adapted to both an intimate corner and a work space.

Founded in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio BrichetZiegler brings a transversal and open approach to design that combines technical precision with poetic perception. The studio works with a deep understanding of craft and materials, rethinking their forms and possibilities, often using materials and production processes as a starting point, respecting their limits while exploring new possibilities and innovating techniques.
