Inspired by Japanese aesthetics

The design of the Niwaki table lighting is based on the shape of the traditionally shaped Japanese pine tree, which symbolises balance, peace and harmony. The luminaire acts as a living organism that responds to space, light and movement, becoming a distinctive yet sophisticated element of modern interiors.

Orga(mecha)nic design

Niwaki perfectly combines organic lines with technical precision. The carefully crafted construction and thoughtful detailing reflect a balance between craftsmanship and technological design, making light look light, natural and sophisticated at the same time.

Designed by Studio BrichetZiegler

Founded in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio BrichetZiegler brings a transversal and open approach to design that combines technical precision with poetic perception. The studio works with a deep understanding of craft and materials, rethinking their forms and possibilities, often using materials and production processes as a starting point, respecting their limits while exploring new possibilities and innovating techniques. The aim is to create bold products that stand out in form and technical properties, fit into different environments and are not dependent on trends. Teamwork is key, as it allows objects to be refined down to the smallest detail through iteration and shared experience, and each project emerges as a result of collective creativity and careful craftsmanship. "We often use materials or processes as a starting point to determine how we go about a project."
