The 2peaks Apartments project features modern mountain apartments designed in a minimalist style with an emphasis on clean lines, natural materials, and functional design. The entire interior was conceived to combine the comfort of contemporary living with the tranquil atmosphere of a mountain setting.
We collaborated on the project withAteliér BekArch s. r. o., where the goal was to create well-thought-out lighting that would not only be a practical element but also a natural part of the overall architectural concept. Our company handled the complete implementation of the lighting—from selecting suitable fixtures and developing technical solutions to the final delivery of designer lights for each space.
The emphasis was placed primarily on combining aesthetic purity, high functionality, and a pleasant lighting atmosphere that complements the character of a modern mountain apartment.
Living room with kitchen and dining area
The main living area of the apartments was designed to feel calm, elegant, and as functional as possible. The combination of natural wood, dark surfaces, and clean lines emphasizes the modern mountain character of the interior. The lighting here therefore had to meet not only high technical standards but also preserve the architectural purity of the space.
For the main lighting in the living area, we selected lighting elegant Karizma Luce Bebe Lente LED recessed lighting with a warm light color of 2700K, DALI dimming, and a beam angle of 25°. The warm light creates a pleasant and cozy atmosphere ideal for relaxation, while the DALI system allows for smooth adjustment of light intensity according to current needs.
The 25° beam angle ensures precise light direction without unnecessary scatter, giving the space a clean, elegant look without distracting glare.
Custom-made pendant lights were installed above the dining table, precisely matching the proportions of the space and the overall architectural concept. This bespoke solution created a striking design element while providing optimal lighting for the dining area.
LED strips with a color temperature of 4000K and a high CRI >90 were chosen to illuminate the kitchen cabinets. Neutral white light is ideal for work surfaces because it ensures accurate color rendering, high visual comfort, and safe lighting for everyday kitchen use.
The overall goal was to create lighting that would not be a dominant feature of the interior, but rather a natural part of it—a functional, clean, and timeless solution befitting a modern mountain apartment.
Bedroom
The bedroom was designed as a quiet and relaxing zone, where comfort, coziness, and a soothing lighting atmosphere take center stage. The combination of natural wood, soft textures, and warm tones creates a harmonious space that promotes rest and comfort in this mountain apartment.
Karizma Luce Bebe Lente LED recessed lighting were once again chosen for the main ceiling lighting, continuing the unified lighting concept of the entire interior. Thanks to their minimalist design, they do not disrupt the clean lines of the space while providing precisely directed light with high visual comfort.
For practical lighting by the bed, light Ambient Reading Spot wall light was chosen, which serves as a comfortable reading light. The adjustable light beam allows for individual settings without disturbing the other person, which is a key advantage in the bedroom.
LED strips with a color temperature of 2700K were installed behind the headboard, creating soft indirect lighting and a pleasant evening atmosphere. The warm light promotes relaxation, looks natural, and helps create a calm environment suitable for resting and falling asleep.
The overall goal was to create lighting that is unobtrusive and elegant, naturally enhancing the calm atmosphere of the space.
Bathroom
The bathrooms were designed in the spirit of the entire project—clean, elegant, and with an emphasis on a serene atmosphere reminiscent of a private wellness area. The combination of natural wood, stone textures, and soft indirect lighting creates a space that feels luxurious yet very natural and cozy.
Astro Minima LED recessed lighting with a color temperature of 2700K and DALI control were selected for the main lighting. The warm light helps create a pleasant atmosphere conducive to relaxation, while the recessed design preserves the clean lines of the interior without any distracting elements.
LED strips were used for indirect lighting under the vanity cabinets, behind the mirrors, and in the bathtub area. This type of lighting adds depth to the bathroom, enhances visual comfort, and creates an elegant ambient light without harsh shadows.
The result is a bathroom that is not merely a functional space, but a fully-fledged relaxation area within the apartment, emphasizing comfort, atmosphere, and timeless design.
Entrance areas, hallways, and technical facilities
The entrance areas, hallways, and technical facilities were designed to complement the overall architectural concept of the apartments while providing maximum functionality for daily use. Emphasis was placed on clean lines, spatial orientation, and creating a pleasant first impression upon entering the building.
The entrance hall features surface-mounted Faneurope Fluke cylindrical lighting in black and various lengths. The combination of different heights creates a striking visual effect that adds dynamism to the space while also serving as a design element for the entire entrance. Lighting not only provide high-quality lighting for the circulation area but also emphasize the industrial character of the space and the project’s modern architecture.
Custom-made recessed linear profiles were used in storage and utility areas to provide even and practical lighting without distracting shadows. This solution is ideal for everyday use, navigation, and handling equipment, such as in ski storage rooms or storage areas.
The hallways and common areas were enhanced with indirect lighting using LED strips, which provide pleasant ambient light while maintaining the minimalist character of the interior. The subtle linear lighting creates an elegant effect, improves safety, and naturally connects the various parts of the apartment building.
The overall goal was to create functional, durable, and aesthetically clean lighting that guides visitors from the moment they enter through to the individual private spaces of the apartments.

The 2peaks Apartments project demonstrates the crucial role that well-designed lighting plays in the overall perception of an interior. Here, light is not merely a technical element, but a natural part of the architecture that enhances the atmosphere of the space, the comfort of everyday use, and the overall aesthetic impression.
Through a combination of designer lighting fixtures, custom manufacturing, indirect lighting, and intelligent DALI control, a harmonious whole was created that meets the high standards of a modern mountain apartment.
