The luminaire appears as a \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003ebeam of light from outer space\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e, an object of obscure origin and time that combines technical precision and poetic mystery, and its \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eentirely contemporary design\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e has no precedent in the past or in existing luminaires.
